An Online Writing Tool
The Typer helps you concentrate on the act of writing and lets you have a pleasant place to note down your ideas without the cruft of most web word processors but with all the important features.

Its purpose is to capture the essential spirit of writing and distill it in a web application. You can access your documents from any browser and they are automatically saved and you can spell check them (you'll soon be able to store various revisions of each one).

Its interface is built around a style-able writing area covering most of the page with the exception of a small menu which can be collapsed to remove most of the extraneous elements from the page (its best used with the browser in full page mode!).

The information area on the top-right corner shows the document permalink 
,
which is also an activity indicator showing when some activity is running
behind the scenes (auto save, spell checks). The day and time when the document was last saved is shown when the menu is open.
All you have to do is to register and you'll be able to start writing right away!
